How the registry works
Your registry is a page on your wedding website. It has two parts:
- Cash gifts. Guests choose an amount & send you a cash gift from your website.
- Gift list. You list the gifts you would love. When a guest reserves one, it shows as reserved, so nobody else buys it.
Many guests, especially family abroad, prefer to give cash. Others like to choose something you will use every day. A cash & gift registry makes both easy.
Your bridal train & vendors
The same part of your website introduces your bridal train, so guests can put names to faces. It also credits your vendors, so guests who loved the cake or the decor know who to call.

Tips for a gracious registry
- Word it kindly. A line such as "Your presence is our greatest gift, but if you would like to give, here are some ideas" keeps the tone warm.
- Mix prices. Add small, medium & larger gifts so every guest finds something.
- Talk to your parents. Some elders prefer to give in their own way, & that is fine.
- Think about where you will live. If you are moving abroad, a cash gift may be more useful than heavy items.
